Galaxy Entertainment Management (G.E.M.) is a Southern California based entertainment company dedicated to providing quality Bands, Musicians, Sound Reinforcement, Entertainment Services, etc. to the public. Some of the styles of entertainment G.E.M offers include Rock Bands, Disco & 80's acts, Lounge Singers and Duos, Tribute Artists and Top-40 performers. Many other services such as Sound and PA, Hosting and MCing, Promotions, Artist and Act Development, and Show Management can be obtained through G.E.M.

At the Galaxy forefront is Director and Musician Guy Hoffmann. Guy's musical career spans over 25 years, encompassing Heavy Metal's Pay-to-Play era as well as the Tribute onslaught and today's retro-sound resurgence. Infamous stints as Bass player in Daggers Edge and as Vocalist of Weapon-X are legendary moments in local rock & roll history. Hoffmann's song writing has received critical acclaim as well as major college-radio airplay in California. He has collaborated and recorded with such pros as Brian Kehew (Moog Cookbook, Asst. to Rob Cavallo), Ray Agawa (Ronnie James Dio), Bill Metoyer (Metal Blade Records) and others. He's written and worked with James Rivera (Helstar, Flotsam & Jetsam, Seven Witches, Destiny’s End, Killing Machine, and Daggers Edge) in the early 80's, including opening support slots with Anthrax, LA Guns, Metal Church, Testament, and many more. Guy also went on to open shows for the likes of Lizzy Borden, Odin, Heretic, Agent Steel, Helstar, Swift Kick, and many others while still playing Bass.

In the early 90s, Guy started singing and fronting his original music while gaining vast experience in public speaking and entertainment in general. While fronting California Power metal band, Weapon X, Guy got to meet and play with many of his idols, such as Graham Bonnet (Rainbow), Paul Dianno (Iron Maiden), Yngwie Malmsteen, and many others. Unfortunately, Grunge killed the Dio-meets-Queensryche band from the 909. So, Guy began a long journey that consisted of singing someone else's lyrics and playing make believe. Oh, what a life!!! Lengthy runs in Inland Empire bands, "Manifest Blues Band" and "Cover Up" included opening shows for Tesla, Savoy Brown, and others. All this while playing Rock & Roll cover tunes. Then, the Disco Show virus hit, and a new direction became unavoidable. Hoffmann, with members of flagship band, Boogie Knights, started the original Superfreaks and carved a funky, bouncy niche for themselves in the So. Cal club circuit. Hoffmann's by-now Powerhouse booking skills secured residency at Fountain Valley's Music City and the now infamous Crazy Horse Saloon (Irvine), which to this day still sports S.R.O. Disco shows.

Ahhh, the memories of the House that Bootsy built!

Guy Hoffmann still manages (and performs with) many style acts, including Rock, Disco, and Top-40, as well as a brand new Lounge-meets-Rock show that is quite unique. Picture Tom Jones, Axel Rose, Don Rickles and Ozzy in a blender.

Guy, with the entire staff of G.E.M., are dedicated to supplying the entertainment services you need and to making your special event a memorable and enjoyable experience.
